stone & brick have made it

around the corner

masons are artist

on this cold day they

build a house of stone & brick

 

the stone is prairie rock found in the ground

near Gateville, Texas

(found in the ground as opposed to a quarry)

after all the stone is installed

it will be acid washed to remove

dirt, grime, & mortar

no brick above the windows yet

a steel lentil (angle iron) will be

placed over the window so the brick can

then be installed on the steel & continued up the wall

2 chimneys will be covered with stone
